Kitchen Update
Being the most used room in the house, I opted to update the kitchen first. Not being able to afford a new replacement kitchen, I used a sticky back plastic to cover the worktop and the cupboards and replaced the door handles. Tiled over the existing ghastly red wall tiles with a new grey more mordern tile, renewed the floor grout by using a grout restorer pen. Painted all the dark wood (and the red pipe) a clean white.
Still want to wallpaper the arched wall (may get a professional to help with this once I have more funds as it doesn't look like the easiest wall to wallpaper, especially on what will be my first wallpapering attempt) and finish painting the dark wood door (or may completely remove this)
Here are the before, during and after photo's!
